Brownstone Gardens offers carefree Independent living for adults 62 and over in spacious one-and –two bedroom apartments. Located in East Longmeadow on the site of the former McCormack Longmeadow Stone Company Quarry, that supplied many of the brownstone buildings locally as well as in New York City and Boston. Brownstone Gardens offers beautiful landscaped grounds and views of the pond as well as many other amenities.

 

Brownstone Gardens was incorporated on June 29th 1971 and opened on November 1st of 1975 due to the commitment and hard work of the Board of Directors who originally were members of the First Congregational Church of East Longmeadow who wanted to provide housing for elderly residents of East Longmeadow and the surrounding communities. Over the years Brownstone Gardens has grown and expanded to keep up with the demands of aging in place for its residents. Brownstone Gardens phase II was built and opened in 1985 followed by Brownstone Gardens phase III on Somers road in 1995. The Board of Directors continues to be focused on improving Brownstone Gardens.
